Customer Satisfaction
In all aspects, including budget, timeliness, and overall quality of the construction, BPCI was able to exceed our expectations.” – Mike Scarff, Bowen Scarff Ford
BPCI has built thousands of buildings totaling millions of square feet for hundreds of customers. The overwhelming majority of our projects are for repeat customers or customer referrals. BPCI has formed lasting relationships with numerous local companies such as Columbia Bank, Valley Bank, Austin-Cina Architects, Franciscan Health Care System, Multi-Care, DaVita Dialysis and Tool Gauge & Machine Works Inc. We have completed over 300 projects for the manufacturing company Toray Composites, ranging from multi-million dollar plant expansions to thousand-dollar equipment moves.
Value
“Quality, thoroughness, professionalism – BPCI has all of these and Bob’s people exhibit them at all times.” --Mike Cina, AustinCina Architects
BPCI is able to offer top quality buildings at a very reasonable cost because it owns and operates many of the sub-trades required to construct a building. Our in-house specialties include site work, underground utilities, concrete, pre-engineered metal buildings, rough carpentry, finish carpentry, gauge framing, drywall, machinery installation, welding, and pipefitting. On average, BPCI employees perform 60% of the work on every project. Building with our own employees and equipment eliminates the profit and overhead that often goes to rentals and subcontractors; we are happy to pass these savings on to our clients.
Pre-Construction Services
“BPCI provided us with value engineering on a variety of changes… they were aware of our budget … were very responsive to our tenants… and BPCI’s integrity is without equal in the industry.” – Mark Wolf, Northwest Real Estate Services
BPCI provides pre-construction advice and planning as a free service to our customers. Many of our clients rely on BPCI to assist them with their entitlement process, permitting, team-build design and engineering, mechanical and electrical design, feasibility studies, value engineering and site selection. It is not uncommon for BPCI to be involved very early in the planning and design of a project, following it through to an efficient and successful completion.
Quality
“How remarkable to find a company that not only offered the lowest bid, but produced a product that exceeded our expectations!”—Thomas L. Kidd, St. Luke’s Lutheran Church
At BPCI, quality is a priority. Great quality builds great relationships with our clients. You can count on BPCI to be there to help you for the life of your structure, even when that means coming back at our own cost to correct a mistake. From superintendents and laborers to project managers and trusted subcontractors, you will find that everyone at BPCI will accept nothing less than top quality work.
Safety
“Your Accident Prevention Program contained all the necessary elements that are required and was complete. More important, the plan was implemented and in practice at your jobsite. Safety meetings were being held on a regular basis, documented, and put on file. Great job!”—Holly Markee, Washington Department of Labor and Industries
BPCI maintains an active and thorough safety program and has been a member of the Associated Builders and Contractors Retro program since 2001.
To protect our employees from job site accidents we require all new hires to participate in a job safety seminar, enforce random drug testing, periodically inspect every jobsite, require jobsite safety meetings, pay for additional employee training when needed, and require all employees to be trained in CPR and first aid. BPCI also requires all subcontractors to present a job-specific safety plan, as well as insurance and L&I information. Our in-house safety coordinator makes sure all these programs are implemented and stay on track.
